For the last 24 years, the first Saturday in March has meant one thing in Scottville: time for the Spring CommUNITY Auction! This fundraiser is a cooperative event between the Mason County Central Educational Foundation (MCCEF) and the Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce. By working together, these two groups are able to raise money to support both the kids and businesses in our community.

The Spring CommUNITY Auction sets itself apart by providing over 400 silent and live auction items that extend into categories such as kids, home, travel, outdoor, sports, service, entertainment, and tools. 70 items will be auctioned off live including a puppy complete with shots, vet visit, crate, and food.

Our theme for 2019 is “North to Alaska!” Guests are encouraged (but not required) to dress up in attire appropriate for the Alaska climate and sporting activities. Drinks and appetizers are included with the price of admission, $24 per ticket or $40 for two. Tickets are available at the MCC Central Business OfficeLudington and Scottville area Chamber of Commerce OfficeWest Shore Bank in ScottvilleSquires Family Care ChiropracticSmith & Eddy Insurance in Scottville, or at the door.
